I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition at University of Petra, Amman, Jordan. I received M.S. from Jordan University of Science & Technology and earned my Ph.D. at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in the United Kingdom. I have published peer-reviewed research articles in national and international journals. International Ambassador for QUB, QUB testimonial for the Middle East. I am a member of the ASO Association, QUB nutrition society, and UNICEF. Recipient of several awards, the most important of which is the 2018 Distinguished Research Plus Award in the United Kingdom. I worked for years on the results of functional nutrition for patients with food allergy and diabetes in Jordan. My research interest includes clinical nutrition, public health and nutrition statistics, community nutrition, food analysis, food security and food hygiene and safety.
